Our MissionThe PAW Mission is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help decrease shelter euthanasia through affordable, accessible veterinary care, compassionate, innovative animal sheltering, and empathetic humane education.
The PAW Mission’s goal is to save the most at risk populations in animal shelters AND high risk groups of children, teens, and adults in underserved areas of San Bernardino County. Our mission is to provide a safe haven with activities, speakers, and educational opportunities to help community members and to aid aid animals in need by offering subsidized veterinary care, information on the different aspects of being a pet owner, and rescuing the most at risk dogs in shelters. |
Our Events
Over 7,000 kittens too young to be adopted are euthanized in shelters every year in our area
Thanks to help from Best Friends as part of the NKLA initiative we are proud to welcome over 400 kittens into our nursery program this year. Our volunteers will bottle or hand feed these babies, provide proper socialization, and find them their forever homes. Interested in fostering or adopting a kitten or litter?

Rehoming

We ask that pets be up to date on vaccines, spayed or neutered, and that you continue to foster them through the rehoming process. |
Humane Education School Program
Compassion, empathy, tolerance, kindness, and respect are all character traits that we want to instill in our children. Our Humane Education program not only teaches kids pet and animal care but also fosters these traits, helping kids develop their emotional intelligence and empathy. |
Rodent Ranger Team Adoptions

At the end of March, we reached our goal of saving 250 cats for the year in only 9 months! Thank you to all of our amazing and compassionate adopters that take in these [..] |
